Mirco Goldhausen

.As of Autum 2024 Mirco, is the new owner of Sea Kayaking Anglesey. He moved to Anglesey in 2014 and has been freelance coaching and guiding on the Island for 7 years. He regularly works on international events in Catalonia, Brittany, USA and has lead expeditions around Anglesey, Scotland, and Arctic Norway and has Guided in Antarctica, Canada and New Zealand. He has previously worked as a Laminator and repair technician forSeakayakingUK.

Mirco is a qualified PaddleUK Advanced Sea Kayak Leader (BCU5*) and Advanced Sea Kayak Coach (L3) as well as a Personal Performance Award (PPA) and Sea Kayak Leader trainer and assessor. Currently Adavanced Sea kayak Leader Assessor aspirant.  He became a Advanced Guide with ISKGA in 2016.

He started kayaking in the late eighties on lakes and small rivers in the South-West of Germany. But has lived in Canada and Switzerland. He spend 2012/13 in New Zealand where he lived out of a 3pc. Explorer. In 2015 he circumnavigated Ireland with Christian Dingenotto, covering 1600km. He has paddle solo trips in the Outer Hebrides, circumnavigated the Isl. of Mull, the Isle of Skye and has circumnavigated Anglesey in 13h13min. A passionate paddler who loves playing in the tidal races around Anglesey, and living out of his boat. He's alway engaging and sharing his enthusiasm with the local community. He is a Brand Ambassador for SeakaykakingUK and Celtic Paddles.
