About This Guide
Joe started paddling a teenager, spending the majority of his time in the WW environment. Moving to Cornwall in 2001 he discovered the world of Sea kayaking and was immediately converted to Sea Paddling by the challenges and wide variety of experiences that it offers.
As a Freelance Coach and Guide Joe can regularly be found working with Sea Kayaking Cornwall and at their Annual Symposium. In addition to delivering adventurous training for the Armed Forces.
A professional trainer he prides himself on a flexible and client focused approach to Guiding and Coaching his clients; ensuring they maximise their learning outcomes and achieve their own developmental goals.
An experienced Sea Kayak Coach Joe offers Coaching and Guiding within the South West or closer to you if preferred. Specialising in getting the most from his clients he works with small groups and individuals to take their paddling to the next level. If you are a group of paddling friends, a club, or family who want to develop your Knowledge, Skills and Attitude to enable to you to safely move to your next level, then please get in touch to discuss how he can help.
Truly believing that the journey is the experience and not the destination, Joe can expertly introduce you to expeditioning and camping from your kayak, utilising the stunning and dramatic Cornish coastline.
A registered BCU Assessor Joe can train and assess BCU 1, 2 and 3 Star Sea Awards.
