Hugh Hunter

Hugh started kayaking in his mid 20's. Through a change in life style and work he took on an instructor training program at Delphi Adventure Centre. Then through LYIT Canoe Club while returning to college as a mature student, Hugh won a scholarship and used the money to go paddling in Canada on the Ottawa River for 4 weeks, yes he was hooked. After this Hugh set about creating his own Kayak business and launched Eco Atlantic Adventures in 2014 which he now manages full time.

Eco Atlantic Adventures is offering Kayak Tours and Sea Kayak Lessons For Beginners. Hugh completed his Advanced Guide Award training with Jeff Allen in Ireland in 2020 and more have recently completed the ISKGA Guide Module Familiarisation and is now run theses modules through his business in Donegal, He is also running a variety of other courses and Expedition style trips in Donegal.
