Founder of Kayak Waveology in Connecticut USA in 2005, a sea kayaking specific training company.
26 years as a sea paddler.
Growing up in New England USA, Greg has always been drawn to the waters of the North Western Atlantic coast line. After paddling open canoes for years as a youngster, taught by family who were Maine Guides. He really didn’t discover ocean paddling until after graduating from Civil Engineering school in 1989. Greg gained many years of absorbing tons of technical information from self discovery, and formal training, in both Civil/Marine Engineering and from the seat of a Sea Kayak, and love to give it back as a sea kayaking coach and guide.
Greg is a frequent visitor to Anglesey N. Wales, The Isle Of Man, Scottish Western isles, the coast of Down East Maine, Canadian Maritimes/ Bay Of Fundy, Rhode Island surfing beaches, and our local Tidal Race waters here in Eastern Long Island Sound USA, and elsewhere were ocean waters move with a purpose. Greg has had the pure enjoyment in coached numerous paddlers in the New England paddling community, and beyond from there beginnings and to see their advancements and achievements.
