Bjorn Svenungsen

Bjorn lives outside of Oslo and has coached and guided in sea kayak and open canoe since 2017.

Bjorn has spent a few years serving with long reconnaisance units in the military and studied wilderness coaching as part of his university degree, Bjorn has worked as a tour- and expedition guide on Spitzbergen and in mainland Norway.

Bjorn guides for Norwegian Sea Kayaking, and leads sea kayaking courses and tours for The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) and others.

Bjørn is an ISKGA Coastal Guide, since November 2022, a 5* sea kayak leader (Norwegian Canoe Union) and Wilderness First Responder. By profession he is a career diplomat, working for the Norwegian foreign service.
